Hey everyone!

No doubt you have noticed that between-chapter breaks have been running a bit longer than usual. I apologize for that. It’s especially nerve-wracking, as I’ve been getting more and more messages from people picking it up for the first time. Like, “There’s more coming! I promise! Ah!”

Truth be told, I’ve been struggling a bit lately of where I want the comic to go. I feel like I have a good thing in place, but it’s off-message somehow. Remember the first strip? I’d like to get back to stuff like that. Or even the chess game between Riti’s parents. My favorite strips have always been the more introspective ones. I think this comic works best when it takes a long look at our weird little universe and says, “hm.” I’ve been trying to write another mini, but if you’ve read the others, you’ll know that they’re deeply personal, and not easy to write.

Anyway, I just wanted to post something to let you know that I’m still here. I love hearing from you all, even though I don’t tend to interact in the comments. As always you can poke me on twitter, it’s where I live.
